SMS consent
HydraulicHoseFindersends automated SMS lead alerts to its paying supplier partners when a buyer request matches the supplier’s profile. This page lays out the full consent picture — who consents, when, how, exactly what the supplier agrees to, and how to opt out — in one stable URL on HydraulicHoseFinder’s own site.
1 · Who consents
Consent is collected from paying HydraulicHoseFinder supplier partners during the supplier onboarding flow. Each supplier expressly opts in to receive automated lead-alert text messages at the mobile phone number they provide on theHydraulicHoseFinder supplier signup form.
This consent flow is for supplier partners only. It is not the buyer intake form on the HydraulicHoseFinder home page. Buyers submit a separate one-shot request to HydraulicHoseFinder for local-hose matching and are not enrolled in any recurring SMS program; the messages described here flow only to suppliers.
2 · When consent is captured
SMS consent is captured at phone-number capture, on the supplier onboarding form at /suppliers. No lead alert is sent before consent is given, and consent is recorded against the supplier account at the moment the signup form submits successfully.
The supplier may update the phone number on file (and re-confirm consent) from the supplier dashboard at any time.
3 · How consent is captured
Consent is captured with a single, explicit opt-in checkbox directly below the mobile phone-number field on the supplier onboarding form. The checkbox’s default state is unchecked, and SMS consent is opt-in and optional. The supplier makes one of two explicit choices — tick the checkbox to opt in to automated lead-alert text messages, or leave it unchecked to opt out and complete signup without SMS alerts. The supplier service agreement, listing in the supplier network, and supplier dashboard do not depend on SMS consent.
The exact capture flow is:
- The supplier reaches the phone-number field on the /suppliers form.
- Below the field, an unchecked checkbox labeled with the verbatim opt-in phrase in section 4 below is rendered. The checkbox default value is false.
- The supplier reads the opt-in language and chooses explicitly: tick the checkbox to opt in to SMS lead alerts, or leave it unchecked to skip SMS and complete signup anyway. Ticking changes the field value to true; leaving it unchecked leaves the value at false.
- The signup form submits successfully either way. The submit button is enabled at all times. The supplier record is created on submit regardless of checkbox state.
- When the checkbox is false, the supplier record is saved with smsConsent: false and smsConsentAt: null— the supplier gets the full supplier service without SMS alerts. When the checkbox is true, both are set and the opt-in timestamp is stamped server-side.
- A supplier who opts in can later revoke consent by replying STOPto any lead-alert message or by updating the supplier dashboard. Revocation does not affect the supplier’s right to be listed in the supplier network or to continue using the HydraulicHoseFinder service.
4 · Verbatim opt-in phrase
The exact text the supplier agrees to — rendered character-for-character on both the live signup form checkbox label and this page — is:
I agree to receive recurring SMS lead alerts from HydraulicHoseFinder at the phone number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, HELP for help.
This is the single source of truth for opt-in language across the HydraulicHoseFinder product and this page; the supplier onboarding form and this consent page always show the same phrasing.
5 · Message purpose (transactional)
Lead alerts are transactional messages about a real buyer request the supplier has been matched to. They are not marketing: there is no sales pitch, no promotional content, and no cross-sell.
Each text message contains:
- The buyer’s contact details (name, phone, email).
- The matched hose type the buyer requested.
- The buyer’s metro area.
- The urgency flag (including the high-urgency / emergency case).
That is the entire content of an alert — so the matched supplier can reply fastest, often by text or call-back, before competitors in the same matched set do.
6 · Frequency
Message frequency varies by the volume of leads the supplier is matched to. There is no fixed cadence and no fixed maximum.
Typical day. A typical active supplier receives a small number of alerts per normal business day.
Emergency / high-urgency days. When the matched set is full of emergency or high-urgency requests, alert volume can climb temporarily. The increase is bounded by actual matched-lead volume and only continues while the surge lasts.
7 · Opt out (STOP) and HELP
Opt out. The supplier can opt out of automated lead alerts at any time by replying STOP to any lead-alert message. After opting out, no further automated lead alerts will be sent to that phone number. The supplier account is paused from new lead delivery until an alternative notification channel is configured.
STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT are all honored as opt-out keywords.
Help. For help with the lead-alert program, reply HELP to any message — or contact HydraulicHoseFinder at the email address in section 10 below. For help, INFO also works. Replies to lead alerts are not monitored; suppliers should call or email the buyer directly to respond to a specific buyer request.
8 · Carrier disclaimer & rates
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.HydraulicHoseFinder does not warrant that any specific lead alert will be delivered, that delivery will occur within any particular timeframe, or that a delivered lead will produce any particular outcome for the supplier.
9 · Full lead-alert / opt-out policy
The full SMS lead-alert and opt-out policy — including the no-refund rule on delivered leads, the indemnification framework, and the dispute process — lives on the Terms page. See our Terms →
10 · Contact
For all SMS-delivery, opt-out, and lead-alert questions, the single point of contact is hydraulichosefinder@polsia.app. HydraulicHoseFinder is operated remotely from the United States. No legal entity or physical address is represented on this page beyond that single contact channel.
